1. Enigma Tap

Enigma Tap is North Shields’ first micropub, offering a range of beers and baked goods. For Father’s Day you can preorder a special baked goods box to be delivered or collected on Saturday.

Featuring Parkerhouse rolls, old spot chorizo scotch eggs or sage & onion scotch eggs (v), chocolate Sabro stout cake & strawberry Jammy dodgers. They also have father’s day gift packs available. 2. Spanish City

Afternoon Tea is the perfect weekend treat, and the iconic Spanish City in Whitley Bay has two delicious offerings to choose from. A Gentleman's Afternoon Tea is available for Father's Day weekend only, or a Traditional Afternoon Tea. Everything in their Afternoon Teas is handmade on the premises by their Head Pastry Chef.

They use high-quality, fresh ingredients and they guarantee you'll be able to taste the difference. They do have limited slots available so make sure you book your collection for this weekend. 3. Turner’s Low Fell

Turner’s Deli in Low Fell offers a wide range of cheeses, meats and fish but they’ve pushed the boat out with a delectable Father’s Day gift box. Boxes are priced at £25 and include:

4. Cake Stories

Cake Stories in Jesmond believe that everyone deserves great cake. Quite right too! Their online shop is open for orders until 3pm each Thursday for delivery the next day. So you’ll need to place your order in time to ensure it arrives for Father’s Day.

All your favourite Cake Stories bakes and treats available to order for local delivery within 8 miles of the Cakery in Jesmond. They have a vegan and gluten free selection too.

5. Caffe 1901

Caffe 1901 is a caffe bistro located inside an old and beautiful church building in Jesmond. They serve a wide range of food and drink with both delivery and collection options during the pandemic. And how good does their Father's Day offering look? A delightful Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea! .
